Trade in Weapons for Mountain Bikes

In Africa, they are trading useful tools for machine guns and small arm weapons. Every gun that is taken in in-trade means someone or many people will not have their lives cut short. A bicycle is a valuable commodity and it is a fair trade. Well, since this is working so well let us up the ante and buy millions of Mountain Bikes and use them to trade, to increase the success of this project. Saving lives and providing transportation, what a plan.

Transportation is one of the most important things for any civilization and Africa can use all the help it can get right now. Having bicycles instead of guns would be a terrific thing, but is it feasible? Well, it is a start and although few people know of this project, I just thought that as the founder of the Online Think Tank, that I might bring it to your attention.

Now we are not talking about a $2500 all carbon frame 10-speed with the latest crank set and a GPS handle bar computer on board, just a simple all-terrain mountain bike. If we can get one laptop for all the children, how about one mountain bike for all the guns, because you cannot use a computer or laptop when someone is shooting at you and I just thought you might like to consider that truth a moment.

Security must be in place or the society, government and civilization collapses and you do not need to read Jered Diamond to know that, it should be evident simply by looking at Iraq and all the infighting. I hope you will think on this.
